In the year 64 BBY, long before the beginning of the Clone Wars, Jafan Cardell, a Jedi Knight {who was a strong Force wielder}, was sent by the Jedi Council to the planet of Alderaan. There he was to protect Belea Temarch, a member of the Council of Alderaan who was to send supplies to a group of refugees who settled on a planet in the outer rim in person. During the mission, several bounty hunters who had been sent by an unknown party were sent to stop the mission and steal the supplies from the refugees who were in hiding. However, in the midst of serving as a protector to Belea, Jafan fell in love with Belea as she did with him. A year and a half later, Jafan and Belea had a private wedding on the planet of Dantooine.Jafan would however, have to return to his duties as a Jedi Knight where he took on his own padawan and Belea would return to her own duties as a council member. Both would meet every so often when Jafan was able to slip away to see her on Alderaan. Two years later, Belea became pregnant with Arwyn. Jafan, however, would only see Belea twice while she was pregnant with Arwyn.With the growing tensions in the galaxy, Jafan would have to return to his duties as a Jedi Knight. During one mission with Master Yoda in the outer rim, Jafan would be killed in action and his body would be sent to the Jedi Temple for burial. He would not see the birth of his daughter which would occur two months later.The Jedi Council would eventually discover the truth about Jafan's secret relationship with his wife Belea after discovering that Arwyn was Force sensitive. Belea and Jafan had planned to hide their daughter's Force sensitivity from the Jedi Council for fear of their relationship being in jeopardy as well as their daughter being taken into the Temple. Arwyn would be allowed to stay with her mother for a few months before she would be brought into the Jedi Temple to be trained in the ways of the Jedi.Arwyn would eventually come under the tutelage of Jedi Master Yaddle, a Jedi Council member. As a padawan, she was powerful in her abilities with the Force and would take time to teach some of the younglings and initiates within the Temple as her master had done so. She would also meet Cacey Visor whom she would befriend and consider as a brother as they would both often duel with one another within several training rooms within the Temple. Arwyn would also grow close to Count Dooku whom she came to look to as a mentor and as a close friend.

However, her time as a padawan under Master Yaddle would be cut short as her master would be found dead somewhere on Coruscant. After the mysterious death of her master {at the hands of Count Dooku}. Arwyn would isolate herself within her own quarters where she would battle at times with the Darkside and with grief at the loss of her master, as she considered Yaddle {besides Cacey}, to be one of the only "family members" she ever knew. It would be Master Yoda that would visit her one day in her quarters and offer her to finish her training where she would eventually undergo the Jedi Trials. She would eventually become a Jedi Knight at the age of 27. Master Yoda not only helped her focus her abilities within the Force itself but to channel her anger and emotions until she could learn to let go of her master. He also warned her of anger leading to the Darkside and what the path would lead down..something that put fear into the girl's heart.Throughout the times of the Clone Wars, Arwyn would become the commander of the Galactic Army of the Republic to eventually become General of the 585 Legion. She would often serve alongside members of the Jedi Council such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Plo-Koon, and Adi Gallia, as well as Anakin Skywalker and other Jedi Knights. Because of her strong abilities in the Force, there were those during this time who sought to use her fear and her strong abilities in the Force against the Jedi Order.During Order 66, Arwyn would be on a Jedi Cruiser that she and her battalion had taken after battling against the Separatists in the outer rim. When the order was given, Arwyn would be awoken and startled by the sound of screaming and cries of fallen Jedi through the Force as they were being struck down by Clones. That would be when she would leave her quarters, only to find some of her own men already rushing toward her quarters to execute her. Arwyn would fight her way to the cruiser's hangar, killing some of her own men in the process in order to escape to a shuttle that had been left. In the middle of the battle, some of her own men managed to shoot her, but she would manage to escape where she would go back to Coruscant to find out what had occurred.It would be there that she would find the bodies of Clones lying about the courtyard and where she would run into her former master and Obi-Wan Kenobi. There, she would learn the horrible truth about Anakin's fall to the Darkside and the massacre and fall of the Jedi Order. She would eventually join Master Yoda and Obi-Wan at the medical center on Polis Massa where they would discuss the fate of the Skywalker twins and going into hiding.Arwyn would eventually go into hiding after the order to the planet of Batuu where she would become a school teacher. After 19 years of hiding, Arwyn would eventually join the Rebellion in order to fight against the Empire and ensure peace to the galaxy.

She is strong in the Force and often takes time to study different techniques in the Force as well as teach others within the Temple different Force techniques. However, with her strength in the Force comes a risk as those such as Count Dooku and others which use her abilities and her fear against the Jedi.- Makashi {Form 2} — A form that is described as both elegant and focused. This allows an individual to defend themselves with minimal effort while focusing heavily on avoiding diarmament. It focuses heavily also on jabs and light cuts rather than using heavy hacks and slash movements {used by individuals such as Count Dooku and Ki-Adi-Mundi}- Diplomacy — While she has not really had any formal education on diplomacy, Arwyn has had some experience watching individuals such as Bail Organa and Senator Mon Matha during the times she would visit the Senate and/or go with them on missions {on rare occassions}. She would even read about some diplomatic tactics that have been used in the past by past members of the Jedi Order within the Archives.- Physical Combat — Arwyn has gained experience and training in physical combat through her training within the Jedi Temple as well as the battles that she has had to undergo during the Clone Wars either against battle droids, Count Dooku, Grievous, or other enemies.- Teaching — Arwyn gained experience through teaching several groups of younglings within the Jedi Order during times she would have off from the war. She would take this experience with her when she would have to go into hiding after Order 66.- Leadership — As a general, Arwyn gained leadership experience through becoming a Commander of the Grand Army of the Republic and watching other Jedi Masters command their battalions. She would have failures and successes in several battles before eventually becoming a General in the Grand Army of the Republic with her battalion, the 585. After Order 66, she would eventually carry the leadership skills she had obtained during the Clone Wars to fight against the Empire as a Rebellion General.
